Release Athens welcomes Nova Twins on Monday, June 26th<\/span>, at Plateia Nerou. The rapidly rising duo from UK will support Disturbed.<\/p>\n

Nova Twins is a British duo formed in 2014 by two childhood friends: Amy Love (vocals, guitar) and Georgia South (bass). They describe their music as urban punk, although the truth is that it’s hard to classify their sound. In their albums, EPs and singles, you find a mixture of punk, pop, rock and grime, something that contributed so today they are considered one of the most dynamic acts in British music. Last year’s sophomore album, “Supernova”, was one of the year’s top releases and was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and the duo was nominated for two Brit Awards in the categories “Best British Group” and “Best Rock\/Alternative Act”.<\/p>\n

After performing live alongside important artists from every genre (Wolf Alice, Little Simz, Enter Shikari and Prophets of Rage, among many others), Nova Twins are coming to Release Athens 2023 on Monday June 26, to confirm their reputation as the next big thing in the British independent music scene.<\/p>\n
