Pavlos Pavlidis back at Release Athens Festival

Pavlos Pavlidis back at Release Athens Festival

Release Athens 2026 welcomes Pavlos Pavlidis on Sunday, July 5th, at Plateia Nerou. One year after the landmark concert at the same venue, Pavlos and his band will be returning to give us another dreamlike seaside experience, filled with the inspiring melodies, lyrics and images that have become part of our lives.

More acts to be announced soon!

A singer/songwriter of the local alternative rock scene, with a solo career spanning more than 20 years and over three decades of uninterrupted creative presence overall, he is one of the most influential and charismatic figures in contemporary Greek music. With his deeply poetic nature and rare stage energy, he continues to evolve, inspire, and bring together an audience that keeps growing.

In recent years, his live performances have consistently been the “talk of the town,” drawing the city’s most vibrant and devoted crowd — longtime fans as well as younger listeners who have just discovered his music. One sold-out show follows another, with performances that provide a collective experience of intensity, emotion, rhythm and celebration that is hard to describe in words.

On July 5th, Pavlos and his band return with a refreshed and multi-layered live set covering his entire journey, from Xylina Spathia to the present day. The setlist will be full of new songs, and for the first time ever, we will hear live performances of tracks from his new album, due for release by Fine! Records by the end of the year

The visual dimension of the show will play a special role thanks to a new creative collaboration with visual artist Stefanos Rokkos and screenwriter and director Haris Lagousis. They will shape the stage environment and the overall atmosphere of the performance.

Pavlos will be joined by an exceptional new band: Alekos Georgoulopoulos (guitar, synthesizers, vocals), Alexis Stavropoulos (drums, sample pads), Thanasis Tzingkovits (bass) and Christos Lainas (guitar, keyboards, vocals).

July 5, 2026: Save the date and come experience it again — louder, more alive and more vibrant than ever!
