Limp Bizkit - Lineup 2026 - Release Athens

Limp Bizkit

In the late 1990s, few bands could combine the groove of hip-hop and funk with the raw energy of hard rock and heavy metal as successfully as Limp Bizkit. Led by the charismatic Fred Durst, Limp Bizkit were one of those bands, leaving their mark on the sound of an entire generation.

The albums “Significant Other” (1999) and “Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavoured Water” (2000) defined their career, while anthems such as “Counterfeit”, “Nookie”, “Break Stuff”, “Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)”, “Re-Arranged”, “My Generation”, “My Way” and their cover of The Who’s “Behind Blue Eyes” dominated the airwaves and remain landmarks of the nu-metal era.

Since the mid-2000s, Limp Bizkit have been on a rollercoaster journey filled with twists and turns: hiatuses and reunions, new albums, a string of legendary shows (including their iconic 2021 Lollapalooza performance), and explosive tours across Europe and America in recent years — proving not only that their energy remains undiminished, but also that their already massive fanbase continues to grow with new devoted followers around the world.

Sadly, on October 18, 2025, just before the next leg of their world tour, bassist Sam Rivers -founding member and heartbeat of the group- passed away, leaving behind an immense void but also an invaluable legacy.

In honor of his memory, Fred Durst, John Otto, Wes Borland, and DJ Lethal have chosen to continue their journey with the same drive and passion that defined them. After all, his musical imprint lives on in every note and every performance.
