Swedish-born Loreen, with Moroccan roots, grew up in a large family with five siblings and found her sanctuary in singing from an early age. Her debut in the music industry came through the TV singing competition Idol, where she ultimately finished fourth. This was followed by a period of working as a TV producer and director while honing her studio craft by night.
In 2011, she released her debut single, “My Heart Is Refusing Me”, a dance-pop banger that was a pivotal point in her later career and the confidence that marked her next steps.
Her career took off in 2012 when she won the Eurovision Song Contest with “Euphoria” and eleven years later, in 2023, she made history by winning the contest for the second time with “Tattoo”, becoming the only woman to win Eurovision twice. At the same time, she topped the charts in 19 countries and embarked on a huge sold-out European tour, catapulting her Spotify following to 13 million and surpassing 2 billion streams worldwide.
Since then, Loreen has continued to release new music, most recently the singles “Warning Signs”, “Forever” and “Gravity”, is working on her next album and is preparing for a major new tour.
