Formed after the breakup of the Birthday Party in 1983, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds are one of the most original and celebrated bands to emerge from the post-punk era. Their sound has evolved steadily over the years, as has their leader’s lyrical vision. From the dark chaos of “From Her to Eternity” (1984) to the contemplative mood of “Wild God” (2024), Cave together with the Bad Seeds have consistently created songs that have touched the lives of millions around the world. This has earned them a prominent place in rock ‘n’ roll history.
While the Bad Seeds’ line-up has changed over the years, they were always a musical force as powerful as their leader. A group full of great artistic personalities (now including Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood) who support his work with rare stability and creative consistency. This was confirmed with the release of “Wild God”, which received rave reviews and reached the Top 10 in several countries.
Not only did the subsequent tour sell out its European leg, it was also hailed as one of the greatest live experiences of our time. A spectacle full of intensity and emotion, it contained equal measures of melancholy and redemption. Its creators’ unique connection with the audience definitively placed them among the top headliners of the global music scene.
