Timetable Day 4: Fontaines D.C. / Boy Harsher / Shame
On Friday June 27th, we will welcome a remarkable trio of bands. While they were initially distinguished for their brilliant recordings, they were ultimately established and loved thanks to their exciting live performances.
Fontaines D.C., the headliners on the fourth day of Release Athens 2025 are a prime example of this. We first welcomed them in 2019, alongside New Order and Johnny Marr. In 2022, we saw them again as the third act after Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Mogwai. This year, we are excited to see them headline for the first time, but more importantly, to see them perform as the top indie band of their generation.
They will be joined by two more bands, who are equally fascinating on stage: Boy Harsher, who have become a leading name in the darker side of electronic music, and the energy-filled Shame, who are ready to release a new album this autumn.
