Special show with Chris Isaak
Release Athens presents a special show by Chris Isaak on Saturday June 13th, at the City of Athens Lycabettus Theatre. The iconic American singer-songwriter, with his mesmerizing voice and a career spanning more than four decades, will be performing in Athens for an evening of timeless melodies, cinematic atmosphere, and his distinctive retro sound.
With his deep, velvety voice and instantly recognisable rockabilly style, Chris Isaak has achieved everything. He became world-famous with the timeless classic “Wicked Game”, one of the most emotionally charged songs of all time, while major hits such as “Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing”, “Blue Hotel”, and “Somebody’s Crying” continue to move generations of listeners.
Accompanied by his loyal band, Silvertone, he has performed sold-out shows around the globe, blending the nostalgia of classic rock ’n’ roll with a modern, dynamic stage presence. With over 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 1.3 billion total streams, he remains a truly timeless figure in contemporary music.
His collaborations with David Lynch imbued his music with a unique, dreamlike quality, and his 13 studio albums stand as milestones of modern American songwriting. On Saturday, June 13th, the remarkable artist, whose distinctive style and aesthetic is often reminiscent of legends such as Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley, will deliver an evening full of emotion, nostalgia and authentic energy.
