The Blues Pills quartet was formed by Zach Anderson and Cory Berry, both former members of the excellent Radio Moscow, in late 2011. Their meeting with Elin Larsson in the US led, initially, to recording some demos and then to perfomances at major music festivals such as Download, Rock am Ring and Wacken Open Air.
Their self-titled debut album went straight into the European charts and reached #4 in Germany and their second album “Lady in Gold” reached #1 in Germany. In 2020 they released their third album, “Holy Moly!”, which was critically acclaimed thanks to their wonderful, psychedelic rock and Elin Larsson’s intense and soulful voice, often compared to Janis Joplin and Amy Winehouse.
