Release Athens 2023: Photo-story Day 2

The second day of Release Athens 2023 was a night to remember, one of those festival experiences that we’ll never forget.

The rainy afternoon didn’t deter Silent Winter, who were a delight, or Beyond The Black, who impressed, with Jennifer Haben validating those who consider her one of the most unique vocalists in symphonic metal at the moment. The rest of the night was electrifying to say the least, with a riveting performance from Jinjer, a truly magnificent band that seems unstoppable on stage, and Tatiana “Tati” Shmayluk at her best. Finally, the legendary Helloween delivered an experience of a lifetime, a thrilling performance worthy of their status, and rightfully were celebrated by the thousands of fans that filled Plateia Nerou.

Release Athens continues on Tuesday June 20th, with the first day of Release Athens X SNF Nostos with Rosalía, Central Cee, Tinashe, IAMDDB, Ayra Starr, Sidarta and Kandè, performing at Plateia Nerou and SNFCC Great Lawn.
