Release Athens 2022 / Day 2: Timetable
This Wednesday, June 15th 2022, three quite different bands, with different styles and from different eras, will take the stage of Plateia Nerou. What they do have in common though, is their fascinating live presence and their undeniable artistic quality.
The headliners, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, need no introduction. Together, they have written some of the most important songs of rock ‘n’ roll history, behind a truly charismatic frontman (with a special relationship with the Greek audience) and one of the most captivating live acts out there. With them, the Scottish Mogwai, who after almost 25 years in the music business are at the top of their game and the hottest indie band on the planet, Fontaines D.C., with one of the best albums of the year in their bags. Rounding out the day, Sugar for the Pill of the excellent “Wanderlust” and the new player in the local indie rock scene, Royal Arch.
